For this project, Yuliya designed a cozy studio apartment on a high floor in Minsk for a young IT couple. Initially, the clients attempted to handle the renovation themselves but soon realized that creating a truly inspiring and functional workspace required a professional touch. That’s when they reached out to Yuliya, seeking a design that would perfectly balance comfort, style, and productivity.
The studio was designed as a dedicated workspace separate from their main residence, providing a creative retreat where they can fully immerse themselves in their projects. The interior features soft, light tones that enhance the sense of openness and comfort. Natural light floods the space, highlighting carefully selected materials and subtle classic elements that add a touch of timeless elegance. The layout was thoughtfully planned to cater to the couple’s unique work preferences — with a comfortable sofa for the husband, who prefers the flexibility of working from a laptop, and a dedicated desk area for the wife, who enjoys a more structured workspace.
A space designed for creativity, focus, and comfortable work
To support their long workdays and creative flow, the studio also includes a compact kitchen, allowing them to take breaks without interrupting their focus. This careful balance of function and comfort makes the space ideal for long, productive days and late-night work sessions, all while maintaining a cozy, home-like atmosphere.
