This bright, modern, and effortlessly stylish interior was created for a large family from Cairo, as their seasonal retreat on the shores of the Red Sea. Nestled in one of Egypt’s elite resort areas, the home was designed to offer an atmosphere of calm, coolness, and effortless relaxation — a true summer escape from the heat and bustle of the city.
The clients asked for a contemporary interior without excessive decor — elegant and practical, but with personality. Since the house is intended for use just 2–3 months a year, the design focused on clean lines, fresh tones, and durable finishes that feel light and breezy, without requiring intensive maintenance.
The entire home is painted in airy, light colours, chosen to reflect natural light and visually expand the spaces. To add uniqueness without overcomplicating the execution, Yuliya used a simple yet clever design technique in the bedrooms: clean geometric shapes in tonal paint shades — an affordable solution that gives each room an artistic and individual touch.
