This apartment on the 25th floor in Minsk offers more than just a beautiful view — it’s a space where creativity lives. Located in the heart of Minsk World, one of the city’s fastest-growing residential areas with the concept of “a city within a city,” the apartment is filled with light, air, and personality.
The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows became the anchor of the design. To preserve the stunning 180-degree view across two sides of the building, Yuliya Forrest used a smart zoning solution: a transparent glass partition that separates the home office (which also serves as a guest room) without blocking the line of sight.
The interior combines modern minimalism with expressive details. In the bedroom, the entire design concept was built around a rare antique Japanese-style quadriptych, brought back from the client’s travels. The space was designed using the monocolor technique, where one dominant tone defines the entire atmosphere. In this case, the chosen color was a rich olive green — deep, earthy, and calming.
Design is not just about space — it’s about letting light and memory move freely within it
To support the visual weight and cultural depth of the quadriptych, a spacious built-in wardrobe was hand-painted by an artist in the chinoiserie style, creating a sense of unity and elegance.
Japanese-inspired motifs appear subtly throughout the apartment — through textures, forms, and accents — blending seamlessly with a contemporary open-plan layout. The result is a home that reflects the spirit of an artist and a collector of beautiful stories.
Results
The result is a unique and thoughtful interior — a space that feels both open and personal, artistic yet livable. Every detail was carefully curated to reflect the owner's creative lifestyle, love for travel, and appreciation for handcrafted beauty. Now complete, the apartment stands as a peaceful retreat above the city, filled with light, stories, and character — a true reflection of its owner’s soul.
