Yuliya Forrest Interior Design was commissioned by A2Z Accountants, a well-established family business, to design their newly acquired office space on Union Street in the very centre of Aberdeen. For the clients, this was more than just a renovation project — it was the creation of their dream office. They wanted a space that would feel both welcoming and trustworthy while reflecting the status of their firm, whose clientele often includes VIPs.
The new office layout was thoughtfully planned to include a bright reception area, two main offices for the directors, a smaller office for staff, two restrooms, and a redesigned staircase landing. To ensure the space would evolve with the company’s growth, a future expansion to an additional floor area has already been considered.
The interior was designed with a focus on light and elegance. Decorative wall mouldings and integrated LED lighting were used throughout to create a refined yet modern atmosphere. Furniture was sourced both from a trusted local cabinetmaker in Aberdeen and from an international manufacturer in China, striking a balance between bespoke craftsmanship and high-quality imported pieces.

Results
As a result, the office is a light-filled and pleasant space that inspires confidence while remaining comfortable for everyday work. The design was warmly received by the clients and approved almost immediately. The owners were highly satisfied not only with the final look of the office but also with the smooth, well-organised design process.
